Aims and Scope

The Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiology (JCMC) is a globally recognized peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the field of cardiovascular science. The journal aims to disseminate cutting-edge research, clinical insights, and advances in cardiovascular medicine to improve patient care, promote health, and prevent cardiovascular diseases globally. Our primary focus is on understanding, diagnosing, and treating cardiovascular conditions, ranging from coronary artery disease to congenital heart defects. We strive to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers, clinicians, and health professionals.

Key Areas of Focus:

Coronary Artery Diseases and Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS): The journal publishes original research and reviews that explore new insights into the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of coronary artery diseases (CAD), including advancements in managing ACS. This includes studies on disease prevention, patient management, and the latest interventional techniques such as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and other catheter-based procedures.

Valvular Heart Disease and Electrophysiology: This section covers the latest research on valvular heart diseases and their interaction with cardiac electrophysiology. Research on diagnostic methods, clinical management, and therapeutic innovations in valve replacement or repair surgeries is highly encouraged. Additionally, we welcome studies that focus on electrophysiological issues such as arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia, along with advancements in ablation therapies.

Cardiac Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Management: JCMC focuses on advances in cardiac electrophysiology and the management of cardiac arrhythmias. Topics such as catheter ablation, pacemaker technology, defibrillator implants, and the use of advanced imaging techniques like echocardiography to diagnose and manage arrhythmias are of significant interest.

Interventional Cardiology/Surgery and Clinical Cardiology: JCMC welcomes contributions that address the latest innovations in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Imaging: As diagnostic imaging plays a pivotal role in cardiovascular disease management, JCMC encourages submissions on nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, MRI, and other imaging technologies. These methods are crucial in diagnosing coronary artery diseases, valvular heart diseases, and in detecting myocardial ischemia.
